Green Tara Thangka – 54×68 cm, Master Grade
Green Tara sits on a pink lotus on a square brick-and-gold-coloured pedestal, her right foot stepping down, her left hand holding the stem of a white lotus, painted in a calm, open landscape of muted greys and greens.
A large, faint seated Buddha appears among the clouds above beside the moon, Manjushri sits on a lotus at the lower left, and a wrathful blue deity stands in flames at the lower right, with an offering of jewels at the foot of the pedestal.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 54 × 68 cm (21.3 × 26.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
