Green Tara Thangka – 51×66 cm, Classic Grade · MH-17821
Green Tara sits on a lotus with her right foot stepping down, her right hand at her knee in the gesture of giving and her left at her heart holding a lotus stem; only her body is painted green, and the rest is drawn in fine white line work on a black ground with small gold-coloured touches.
Lotuses and leaves fill the aureole behind her, and clouds curl in the upper corners and around the throne, with a small offering of jewels at the foot, inside a yellow border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 51 × 66 cm (20.1 × 26.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
