Green Tara Thangka – 55×70 cm, Classic Grade
Green Tara sits on a pink lotus, her right foot stepping down onto a small blue lotus, her right hand in the gesture of giving and her left at her heart holding the stem of a blue flower, framed by a dark halo filled with gold-coloured clouds and an aureole set with red and blue jewels, among blue peonies.
Red Amitayus sits on a lotus at the top centre, with Shakyamuni Buddha holding a bowl at the upper left and a blue Buddha holding a bowl at the upper right, and a golden-yellow goddess and a blue goddess stand on blue lotuses in the lower corners.
A dharma wheel on a blue lotus rests on a stand below her, and the whole black ground is filled with gold-coloured clouds, inside a deep red border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 55 × 70 cm (21.7 × 27.6 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
