Mantra Mandala Thangka – 56×56 cm, Fine Grade · ET-6699
A double vajra in red, green, yellow and dark green lies at the centre on a yellow disc, with four Tibetan syllables in white roundels around it, inside an orange-red lotus drawn in gold-coloured line work with auspicious symbols.
Rings of Tibetan mantra script, painted in gold-coloured line work, circle out across a ground that shades from green to deep navy, closed by a band of red and gold-coloured patterning and a rim of gold-coloured scrolls.
Blue and olive peonies fill the four black corners, inside an orange border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 56 × 56 cm (22.0 × 22.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
