Mantra Mandala Thangka – 56×56 cm, Fine Grade · ET-6706
Rings of gold-coloured Tibetan mantra script circle out from a lotus of pink, orange, blue and white petals at the centre, across teal rings near the middle and black rings beyond.
Around the lotus, a ring of gold-coloured line work on an olive and teal ground holds auspicious symbols such as an endless knot and a wheel, and a rim of gold-coloured scrollwork set with small red panels closes the outer circle.
Pale green and pink peonies drawn in gold-coloured and white line work fill the black corners, inside a pink edge.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 56 × 56 cm (22.0 × 22.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
