Jambhala Mantra Mandala Thangka – 56×56 cm, Fine Grade · ET-8813
Yellow Jambhala sits at the centre in a small roundel, holding a pink citron in his right hand and a blue mongoose in his left, his right foot stepping down onto a white conch on a pink lotus, wearing a green shawl and framed by an orange halo against blue clouds and pink rocks.
Around him, an eight-petalled lotus on a dark ground holds auspicious symbols in gold-coloured line work, among them a wheel and an endless knot, and rings of gold-coloured Tibetan mantra script circle out on a ground that glows from orange to deep red.
A band of small red and black arches and a broad rim of gold-coloured scrollwork close the circle, and grey and ochre peonies in white line work fill the four black corners, inside a dark brown border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 56 × 56 cm (22.0 × 22.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
