Rings of tiny Tibetan mantra script in gold-coloured line work circle a deep blue disc around a six-petalled lotus with the six syllables of Om Mani Padme Hum in colour.
An outer ring of the same six syllables, painted large in many colours, circles the disc, and pink and blue peonies fill the four dark brown corners inside a blue edge.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 77 × 77 cm (30.3 × 30.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
