Mantra Mandala Thangka – 105×105 cm, Classic Grade · MH-1815
Rings of tiny gold-coloured Tibetan mantra script circle out on black from a gold-coloured Om inside a small dotted circle at the centre.
A band of gold-coloured arched panels and a wide gold-coloured rim of feathered rosettes close the circle, inside a wide band that shades in steps from pale blue to deep violet, on a dark olive-black ground with a thin white border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 105 × 105 cm (41.3 × 41.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
