Mantra Mandala Thangka – 54×54 cm, Classic Grade
A gold-coloured Om sits at the centre inside a ring of small dots, and about a dozen rings of Tibetan mantra script, painted in gold-coloured line work on black and divided by short strokes, circle out from it.
A ring of arched panels and a broad rim of gold-coloured fan-like leaf patterning close the circle, set on a plain black ground inside a thin white line.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 54 × 54 cm (21.3 × 21.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
