Mantra Mandala Thangka – 55×55 cm, Classic Grade · MH-6047
At the centre, a gold-coloured Om sits in a dotted roundel inside a gold-coloured eight-pointed star, on a maroon disc across which rings of gold-coloured Tibetan mantra script circle out.
Eight blue roundels rimmed in orange and gold-coloured dots sit among the rings, holding the eight auspicious symbols: the parasol at the top, then the pair of fish, the victory banner, the lotus, the conch, the vase, the endless knot and the dharma wheel; outside them run a ring of dark patterned panels touched with red, a blue band of white mantra script and a rim of gold-coloured flame-like scallops.
Gold-coloured cloud scrolls fill the black corners around offerings of the senses: a conch, a mirror, fruit and cymbals, inside a maroon border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 55 × 55 cm (21.7 × 21.7 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
