Mantra Mandala Thangka – 75×75 cm, Fine Grade · MH-8271
Rings of tiny Tibetan mantra script in gold-coloured line work circle out across a disc that shades from pale pink at the centre to deep red at the edge, around a six-petalled lotus with the six syllables of Om Mani Padme Hum in colour and a gold-coloured syllable at the centre.
A rim of coloured lotus petals and scroll patterning closes the circle, set on a blue ground with offerings of the senses in the corners: fruit, a conch, cymbals and a mirror.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
