Jambhala Mantra Mandala Thangka – 110×110 cm, Fine Grade · MH-916
At the centre, Yellow Jambhala sits on a pink lotus against a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole, holding a dark blue fruit in his right hand and a small mongoose in his left, his right foot stepping down onto a blue conch, before purple clouds and green hills on a dark blue ground.
His roundel is ringed by blue, green and orange petal panels and a broad rim of gold-coloured fan-like patterns, and rings of gold-coloured Tibetan mantra script circle out across a disc that shades from pale turquoise at the centre to deep green at the edge.
Gold-coloured peonies drawn in red line work fill the four black corners, inside a green border carrying rows of gold-coloured script and a red edge.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 110 × 110 cm (43.3 × 43.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

About Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala arranges the syllables of a mantra, most often Om Mani Padme Hum, in rings around a central seed syllable. Each ring is lettered by hand, and the finest are painted in fine gold-coloured script on black.
